The GitHub Extension for SAP ZenHub
This extension for SAP ZenHub enables using a name instead of the user id when logging into a ZenHub instance. If you've been reading the GitHub docs on the subject, you'll be familiar with how the API is set up. If you're not, let me walk you through it.
When a user accesses the GitHub API, they need to provide a username, a password, and an API key. The key is then used to identify the user to perform actions on their behalf.
You may be wondering why the extension does not use this information to generate an id instead of the user id. If you have both the extension and the name change on your GitHub account, the name change will occur in every instance. The GitHub extension requires that a user's account be logged into the extension. So, it's not possible to use the name change on a Github instance and the name change on a ZenHub instance simultaneously.
